We are always looking for permanent full-time and tax season staff accountants to work in our tax and audit departments.  These positions will provide exposure to all aspects of tax compliance including research, tax preparation and business consulting, as well as audit procedures relating to various clients in different industries.  Experience will be gained in a small, team-oriented working environment.  We provide excellent benefits and competitive salaries.  Most of our employees have been with Candy & Schonwald for over five years. 

 

For permanent full-time positions, we prefer applicants who meet the college-level hour requirements to sit for the CPA exam and have taken at least introductory tax and auditing classes with a basic understanding of these areas of accounting.  Computer proficiency is a must.  Familiarity with Go System products is a plus.
 

For temporary tax season positions, we are requesting degreed candidates or students who have an interest in and a general understanding of the field of tax accounting and have reasonable blocks of time during the business day in which to devote to this position.  We are requesting a minimum commitment of 30 hours per week. The positions will begin approximately February 1 and extend through approximately April 15.  Computer proficiency is a must.
